February 3rd we had a Pre-Bid meeting and the turn out was great just one step closer to our new building.

 

 

 

 

Dear Business Professional,

Fallon Industries is dedicated to quality of life for people in our communities with developmental, mental, emotional and physical disabilities. FI provides services and supports that encourage personal success. In our rural communities we are constantly looking for a way to fund our programs and job training center.

 

The Thrift Store in Fallon provides employment and on the job training for young adults transitioning into the work force and adults reentering the work force through Vocational Rehabilitation . This active environment provides daily responsibilities and meaningful work.  FI is opening a community thrift store in Fernley that will bring income to the organization and provide services that are much needed in Fernley.  

 

Opening the FI Thrift Store in Fernley in January 2009 is vital to our survival as the largest quality of life service provider in Rural Nevada. FI works closely with other community organizations and provides donations of clothing, furniture, and basic needs.  FI employment specialists, work with people getting back into the work force. We are a hand up in our communities. Fernley needs our organization.

 

The tenant improvements needed at the facility in Fernley equal $25,000.00. Fernley Industries has raised $12,000.00 through a grant.  Fallon/Fernley Industries corporate office will always remain in Fallon; however, our teams of highly qualified staff will be the future of quality services for all people needing a hand up in Rural Nevada.
